Dear All,

I am going on vacations to Islamabad. Its my first big trip to Islamabad after 1997. Although I went in October 2007 for a half hour stay Doesnt it sound crazy. Anyway all moods of life have different decisions.

I will be flying to Islamabad today at 4 pm local time. Have plans to visit Rawalpindi, Muree, Bhurban, Patriyata, Nathia Gali, Ayubia. I am also trying to visit Lahore too.

I have got some news that my one of old friend Fawad is also getting married on 1st August 2009 in Rawalpindi. So will try my best to attend that Wedding too.

I will be updating my blog with the tour pics and views on regular basis.

Wi-Tribe is a Life Style

I had been busy throught out July. I had reviewed Wi-Tribe Services in Karachi in June 2009 but couldnt update my blog. Although my reviews have been viewed on youtube.com

Well, the news so far is that Wi-Tribe has been launched officially to the public. I guess the launched on 1st of July.

Good things that what I have seen, launching of Wifi Modems and most importantly the USB Wimax devices. Great for the notebook roamers.

What I have felt is that in the offical launch they have introduced better packages in terms of their soft launch.

I always want to get connected though Wi-Tribe, but just waiting for their services to be started in Super Highway Area. Particularly Gulshan-e-Maymar.

Anyways, I have reviewed wi-tribe on various places of Karachi. Starting from P.E.C.H.S Block-2 then going through Kashmir Road, GuruMandar, Lasbela, Patel Para and throught to Nazimabad, Hyderi and the off course Sakhi Hassan, And then to Sohrab Goath.

As of 10th June 2009. Their services had been pethatic after hyderi till sohrab goath when i reviewed. I hope it must be now covering that part too.

I would like to re-review it again but would like to ask the Wi-Tribe to give me a demo connection for this purpose as they did in their soft launch too.

Or If anyone can help me out by giving me the Modem for reviewing.

Most importantly, I was reviewing the signal strengths and not the speeds. But in my Judgement, Signals are far more important for good wimax speeeds, therefore i have given priority to Signals rather than speed. The more signal the more great speed.

According to WiTribe source, thegaurantee good speed on at least 1 signal strength, I think they say 5dbi.

Bussiness community facing heavy revenue lost due to un-registered units,specially petrol pump operators in Hyderabad , Mirpurkhas and other other areas within jurisdiction of Regional Tax office Hyderabad.
Mirpurkhas Tax Bar association is keen to take the matter to higher authorities.details include that the Sales Tax registered taxpayers from Hyderabad to entire interior sindh within the jurisdiction of R.T.O Hyderabad are facing heavy losses because of the unregistered petrol pump operators due to the fact that the tax involved in the purchases from the un-registered dealers cannot be claimed to be refunded in sales tax.
CNG operators who run their power generator of CNG from diesal are the heavy victim of this weak enforcement system of Hyd R.T.O.
In this Regard CNG operators have raised to demand that all the petrol pump operators who bears compulsory requirement of sales tax
registration as per law must be inspected and enforced to get sales tax registration.
Representative of the Mirpurkhas Tax Bar Mr. Ahmed Nasir kaim khani has claimed that in his entire career he has not noted any petrol pump
registered in sales tax in the area beside of a compulsory registration requirement from Sales Tax Act 1990.
Moreover it is deemed to be asked from Higher Authorities of FBR to
take neccessory action in order to confirm an effective enforcement system and also give some sympathetic compensation to the sales Tax
registered CNG stations Who could not claim their legal input tax due refund because of the issue and suffered heavy losses.
